Businesses need a dynamically shortened web links to ensure that they don’t occupy redundant length of the SMS.  Txtly will help you shorten any long URL. You can use this shortened URL within your SMS to further track your customer’s real-time data. Txtly URL will redirect your customers to the respective web page.

Txtly Campaigns

Often, there will be multiple weblinks that need to be shortened. Manually shortening them one by one will not only get hectic to the team, but also wastes ample time that the team could work on building constructive, productive material. To eliminate this pain point, we have introduced the concept of Bulk Txtly, where you can upload up to 1 Lac URLs in one go and the consecutive shortened URLs are all defined in one sequence.

The file uploaded should have the column “Long URL” and the subsequent column of Short URL will be auto created with shortened web links, upon using Bulk Txtly. To cut multiple web links in a shot, follow the steps below:

  1. From the main menu, click on ‘Txtly’ and choose ‘Txtly campaigns’

  2. Click on ‘+New’.  The following page appears.

  3. Tick on ‘Enabled’ to enable link tracking

  4. Tick on ‘Advanced’ to enable IP address tracking and advanced analytics like device tracking etc.,

  5. Enter the Campaign name and upload a file.

  6. When you upload and submit a file, our Txtly algorithm converts multiple long web links to short ones. To check this, you can download a sample file before submitting.

Note: If you do not copy paste {advanced} within SMS then system cannot track customer data for URL.

Note: If you tick checkbox ‘Enabled’, then location tracking based on IP parameters will be enabled. This will actively direct you to the required URL. Advanced Analytics will help track the click counts to your URL and track other device related information. Location Count will help you track the location of user who has clicked on Txtly URL.
